Our businesses, small and large, support our communities, support our community services, and make the Almaguin Highlands a vibrant place. My strong support for economic development and the business owners themselves is rooted in my own lifelong entrepreneurial foundation.
The Almaguin Community Economic Development (ACED) team focuses on creating an environment which welcomes new business, supports existing business, and provides the community services that employees and families need. This lays the foundation for attracting and keeping employment, and keeping our region vibrant.
In addition to the work ACED does in supporting businesses, they also support our communities. They have been responsible for the branding that has literally put the "Almaguin Highlands" on the map.
Armour Township is proud to be the administering municipality for ACED and maintains full support for this vital group.
